Description

The Ujamaafest exists to empower the African American community by providing programming centering around cooperative economics & financial literacy which is a principle of Kwanzaa.

We are hosting a Lactation Pop Up Lounge, The HBCU Experience for high school students, our Cultural immersive family art activities & our favorite community purple lady Angela Reid is bringing her curated collection of children's books where while supplies last, each child will receive a book as their Zawadi (gift).

For 9 years, Founders Kiyomi Rollins & Mark Eschoe unapologetically have been committed to providing a platform for black-owned businesses & creating cultural reflections/memories for our youth.

It doesn't matter if you have never celebrated Kwanzaa, come to be in a space where you & whole your black self & whole black family is celebrated.
