The Suzuki Association of Georgia is hosting a new event, and would love to see you there. Join us for SPRING into SUZUKI! SAGA Spring Play-In & Scholarship Fundraiser this Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the ArtsXchange located at 2148 Newnan St, East Point, GA, 30344. A Play-in is an iconic Suzuki event, celebrating the legacy of Japanese educator and humanitarian Dr. Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998) and bringing together all levels of Suzuki-trained students.

Get ready for the FUN with musical games, milkshakes, bounce house, and friends. The event is FREE and open to families. Donations are accepted.

What is Suzuki?

Over fifty years ago, Japanese violinist, educator, and philosopher Shinichi Suzuki came to the realization that children all over the world learned to speak their native language relatively easily through observation, parental encouragement, and constant repetition. Suzuki believed that musical skills could be acquired in much the same way that language was learned, and he began teaching using these basic principles to create the "mother-tongue approach" to learning music.
