With Canva - Anyone Can Design, Even You and Me!

I love Canva!!! What is it? Canva is a graphic design platform used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents, and other content. What I love most about it is that the app has so many features available in the free subscription option. There are so many templates to use, so you don’t have to be a skilled graphic designer to create beautiful visuals. You can make digital files, but it also allows you to download your projects into high-resolution files for printing right there in the app. Canva offers tons of templates in various categories. There is something for every need from presentations and infographics to brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, and more. 

As a busy mom and mompreneur, I use Canva pretty much daily for work and personal use. And the good thing about it is, even when I am drained from everything else and have no creative juices flowing, Canva does the work for me. I find a design I like, click it, fill in the blanks, and boom - I'm done. And it’s FREE! 

I use Canva to make all of my kids' birthday invitations and cute reminders for my family.

I use it to create professional-looking visuals for my family’s philanthropic efforts and small business needs. A bonus for me is that one of Canva's core values is – 'Being a force for good.' As a family involved in giving back to our community all year long, I love supporting businesses that promote positivity and diversity. Here are a few items I've created to promote our family's nonprofit efforts. 

I use it to create all the content for my Macaroni KID business and other professional projects. 

Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes it accessible to teach my kids how to use it for their school projects and whatever else their creative little minds can strum up. During distance learning it was also great to use to create simple graphics to teach my preschooler.  

I chose Canva over some of the other options out there because of how simple it is. As much as I want to, sometimes I do not have the time or the energy to create content, but the work has to be done. Canva gives you options. You don’t have to worry about starting from scratch, but you can if you want to. With Canva, I always win. Canva allows me to put out great content quickly and easily without breaking the bank. It offers a good mix of tools and lots of supporting elements that take basic designing to the next level. Sometimes it's hard to believe that I did some of these things on my own. So empowering!
