First of all, I want to apologize for being "missing in action" but sometimes life happens, and lately for my family, it's happened over and over again. Through it all, we remain thankful and grateful. I am especially grateful for all of you and the opportunity to serve as the publisher of Macaroni Kid in this great community. We had a great time this year, and I am looking forward to having more fun and planning more events next year. Speaking of, I cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by, and this month especially. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is on two days. Seems like only yesterday all of the kids were getting dressed up for Halloween.
The most wonderful time of year is coming, and also the busiest. Ready or not, here it comes. As for me, I am getting myself in gear and will be stepping my game up. I have a little bit of catching up to do on so many levels. This year my son is an ambassador for Giving Tuesday Kids and that has been a wonderful experience helping him to rally kids together to do service projects on Dec. 3. Take a look at this article posted on Macaroni Kid National to find out how your kids can get involved this year. The message is that no gift is too small and anyone can give. You can also check out our story produced by WSB on why we have made giving a part of our lifestyle and a foundation for raising our kids. In the new year, we will have lots of opportunities for kids and families to help our less fortunate neighbors.
In terms of Macaroni Kid, next week, you can look forward to our Holiday Events Guide and our Holiday Gift Guide. Don't spend all of your money in one place on Black Friday because we have some great partners with awesome products to share with you. We will be releasing the gift guide on Cyber Monday so check the website. And if you have something you're interested in advertising, we have a few spots left. I'll remind you on social media.
