Families and travel enthusiasts are encouraged to voyage to Children’s Museum of Atlanta for a month full of exploration and cultural enrichment! In early June, guests are invited to journey to different parts of the world and experience music, food, dance and much more at United Nations of Play. Visitors can also celebrate Eid al-Fitr with crafts, music, a special story time and even a traditional “Eid Mela” carnival. Families looking to celebrate the most important man in their lives will also have the opportunity to learn about all of the different ways that cultures from around the world celebrate Father’s Day!

United Nations of Play
Saturday, June 1
On Saturday, June 1, little ones are invited to experience international cultures through art, food, music, dance, and immersive country exhibitions during United Nations of Play, a family-friendly fundraising event with a worldly lineup of fun activities. Guests will have the opportunity to explore Egypt, India, France, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Senegal and beyond! Young learners will also be able to experience special talent performances, a mini tasting marketplace, an International Airport Terminal featuring interactive STEM activities and an international Petting Zoo showcasing animals from around the world.
Celebration of Eid al-Fitr
Sunday, June 9
Families are encouraged to come to the Museum and celebrate Eid al-Fitr, also called “Festival of Breaking the Fast.” Muslims around the world celebrate this holiday after a month of fasting for Ramadan. In honor of this special day, Museum guests will have the opportunity to create cool crafts, participate in music and movement activities and attend a traditional “Eid Mela” carnival, featuring games, prizes, and a henna station! Participants will also have the chance to attend a special reading of It’s Ramadan Curious George and learn how to make mango lassi, a refreshing traditional Ramadan beverage.
Father’s Day Celebration
Sunday, June 16
Guests are invited to spend a fun-filled day celebrating dad. The Museum will have extraordinary activities dedicated to fathers all day long, including a station where kids can decorate a special “all about dad” poster, take a cooking class and enjoy a special performance by the Imaginators showing how Father’s Day is celebrated by different cultures from all over the world.
Building Blocks: Early Learning Programs
Tiny Club Monday

Kiddos can choose between TiNY Science Club and TiNY Artist Club to enjoy a 30-minute class designed especially for kids ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Families can also check out TiNY Builder Club, a drop-in class held from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Each program offers hands-on activities, professional instruction and the chance to learn something new!
Messy Thursdays

Little visitors and guardians are invited to get messy! Messy Thursdays offer slime, finger painting and more every Thursday of the month! Let the Children’s Museum of Atlanta clean up the mess while the little ones have a blast with new activities and endless opportunities to try each and every week.
Toddler Jam Fridays
10:30 a.m.
Rock and roll into the weekend with this high energy, music-filled class guaranteed to shake out the wiggles and foster a love of music. Each week’s program offers new songs, instrument play, circle time activities and, of course, dance breaks.

Museum Admission: Plan ahead and save! Families can purchase timed tickets online in advance to save money and guarantee entry to the Museum. Babies under 12 months and members are admitted for free. All daily programs are included in the price of admission. Group rates and military discounts are available.
