Children’s Museum of Atlanta to host Family Free Day, May 1

PNC Foundation, The Coca-Cola Foundation and CareSource fund educational day of STEM and sports

Families are invited to visit Children’s Museum of Atlanta free of charge for Family Free Day on Wednesday, May 1. Throughout the day, kids will be introduced to STEM and sports activities in a festival-like atmosphere celebrating innovation and creativity. Made possible by the support of the PNC Foundation, The Coca-Cola Foundation and CareSource, the three sessions will also offer the chance for kids to explore the Museum’s six permanent, interactive exhibits as well as feature exhibit Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in ActionTM, which runs through May 27, 2019.

To guarantee entrance, families must pre-register online, beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30 for Session One, Two or Three. Families may not register for multiple sessions.


Session One: 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 

Session Two: 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. 

Session Three: 4 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.

Children’s Museum of Atlanta is the only educational venue of its kind in Atlanta, presenting educational programs and exhibits designed for young children ages 0-9. Museum Admission: Plan ahead and save! Families can purchase timed tickets online in advance to save money and guarantee entry to the Museum. Babies under 12 months and members are admitted for free. All daily programs are included in the price of admission. Group rates and military discounts are available. Museum Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Closed on Wednesdays. Please check the Museum website to confirm hours of operation.
