Atlanta’s Little Mammoth Media, which makes fun, adventure-filled films for kids, is kicking off its 25th anniversary with a remake of its first-ever movie, “The BIG Plane Trip.” The reimagined film, “The New BIG Plane Trip,” shares a behind-the-scenes look at a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to its final destination in London’s Heathrow Airport. And because the films were inspired by and created in our very own Atlanta Airport District, Macaroni Kid College Park East Point Morrow is happy to be a part of the celebration and to share a special giveaway with you. Two lucky subscribers will win a $10.00 iTunes card to purchase a download of the film, a t-shirt, stickers, and a button.

"I live in Atlanta, and our airport is the busiest in the world! Now, local kids who watch planes flying in and out of Hartsfield Jackson all the time have a fun, entertaining film that answers all their questions -- from how bags get on planes, to what flight attendants do," said Bill VanDerKloot.

VanDerKloot, a 40-year industry veteran launched Little Mammoth Media and came up with the idea for The BIG Plane Trip in 1993 while driving on Highway I-75 with a car full of children. He realized there were minimal well-produced and well-researched videos for children and decided to produce his own. He wanted to entertain kids while answering their questions about how things work - from plane trips to submarines to national parks - through the “Big Adventure” series. The BIG Plane Trip, and each subsequent video in the series is constructed with various levels of information so that an entire family, from the youngest to the oldest, can enjoy and learn something new with every viewing.

The series includes these additional titles: The BIG Breakfast, The BIG Rescue, The BIG Train Trip, The BIG Zoo, The BIG Christmas Tree, The BIG Park, The BIG Newspaper, The BIG Renovation, The BIG Hotel, The BIG Boom, The BIG Submarine, The BIG Space Shuttle, The BIG Aquarium, The BIG Aircraft Carrier, The BIG Auto Plant, and The BIG Air Show.

Through his ‘Big Adventure’ series, he sought to create smart content to delight curious kids like his own. His journey has proven successful as Little Mammoth Media has sold tens of thousands of videos to entertain children in more than thirty different countries around the world in the past 25 years. The brand has received several awards, including Award of Excellence in Accolade Global Film Competition, Kids First! Endorsement from The Coalition for Quality Children’s Media, Finalist for A REMI Award at the Houston International Film Festival, Bronze Award at the NYC Cynopsis Short Form Video Festival and an Award of Excellence at the Best Shorts Competition.

In addition to the new movie, Little Mammoth Media is also debuting a short film, “What We Love About London.” This free kid-friendly guide explores London’s history, monuments, and attractions. FREE Download!!!
