Happy Family Organics Party (Review)

Macaroni Kid College Park-East Point-Morrow had an opportunity to share a very special tasting party with our audience.  Happy Family Organics provided us with a wonderful cookbook and lots of recipes, coupons, and free samples to give to our readers.

After going through the cookbook multiple times I finally decided on three tasting items for the party.  I prepared the broccoli & cauliflower macaroni and cheese at home right before the party.  We prepared the banana and sunflower seed butter snacks on site.  Then I decided to have some fun and let our guests create their own turkey, cheese and fruit kabob!

Needless to say the kids loved putting together their own snack and then eating it without being told to use a fork.  The moms all took a vow to try everything.  Well.....we were a bit iffy on the banana, sunflower seed butter and whole wheat tortilla snack.  To our surprise and delight it was a hit!  I think we ate more of them then the kids.

All of the moms inquired as to where they could purchase the cookbook and I let them all know it was on amazon!  This book covers baby food from six months through preschool.  It's  a fantastic way to introduce healthy eating to your kids at an early age. This happy family organics party was the first of many partnerships with companies promoting healthy eating for our children.

Stay turned for more cooking parties.  We are teaming up with several local companies and an urban farm in East Point to bring you a new series of healthy eating with kids in the kitchen!
