A community favorite returns as College Park gears up for the 2026 MLK Day Parade.

College Park is gearing up for one of its most beloved traditions, which is the 2026 Clayton County Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade! On Monday, January 19th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to noon, the streets will come alive with music, movement, and the powerful spirit of community as neighbors, schools, and faith leaders join together to honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy of justice, unity, and service.

This year, the City is thrilled to welcome The Honorable Judge Penny Brown Reynolds, Ph.D., as the Grand Marshal,  a leader whose voice, vision, and commitment to service beautifully reflect the values Dr. King championed.

Whether you are marching, cheering from the sidelines, or bringing the whole family for a day of joy and reflection, this parade is the moment for you and yours. 

Parade Day Details

  • Line-up: 8:30 AM
  • Step-Off: 10:00 AM sharp
  • Road Closures: Begin at 9:30 AM
  • Route: 1630 Phoenix Boulevard, Suite 200 → 5517 West Fayetteville Road
  • Grandstand Viewing: At the parade endpoint

Expect all the vibrant floats, marching bands, community groups, and a whole lot of College Park pride as all walk together in the spirit of Dr. King’s dream.

After the parade, the fun continues. Head over to the Tracey Wyatt Recreation Complex (2300 Godby Road, College Park, GA 30349) for an afternoon filled with family-friendly excitement and community connection.
