GREASE: FINAL WEEKEND at Serenbe Playhouse

Outdoor fun in Chattahoochee Hills

By Kimberly Bryant, MKDSF March 30, 2017

Looking for a great date night out? Serenbe Playhouse is a must. This movie comes to life in a play adaptation by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. If you are a Grease fan - you will not be disappointed. All of the songs you remember and memorable scenes are played out within an arms reach. The talented cast members bring the story of star-crossed teenage lovers, Danny and Sandy to life. You’ll find it hard to resist moving to the music and being immersed in Rydell High’s spirited class of gum-chewing Pink Ladies and hot-rod-loving guys in leather jackets from the T-Birds.

What about Serenbee Playhouse? We loved the magical setting - in the Wildflower Meadow at Serenbee. You will park your car in a dirt lot and walk up to the "Drive-In", complete with outdoor seating, a screen backdrop, and vintage cars and a truck. You get the full "outside" experience of the drive-in complete with seating assistance from actors in poodle skirts and leather jackets. Looking for some munchies- you will love the popcorn in the Rydell High School cheer-leader mega-phones. This is a great date night experience!
