Cochran Mill Nature Center is proud to offer Southwest Atlanta’s premier nature camp program. Spend a week (or more!) learning and exploring the natural world. Our three camp programs are designed to grow with children.

CAMP CRICKET is for rising Kindergarten & 1st graders. Will you be in Kindergarten or first grade this year? Do you like to get dirty? Would you like to touch a live animal for the first time? Then Camp Cricket is the place for you! Let’s hike, canoe and go fishing. We can meet wild animals up close, create arts and crafts and make new friends each week!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm
Cost: $95 per camper/$85 Members*
Dates: June 11-15, June 25-29, July 9-13
What’s included: 20 hours of instructor-led programming and a unique camp t-shirt!

JUNIOR NATURALIST CAMP is for rising 2nd-5th graders. Do you like canoeing? Ever caught a fish? Would you like to make an owl your new best friend? These adventures await you at Junior Naturalist camp! Camp themes change each week, so join us for a summerfilled with fun! (full theme descriptions available on our website)

Hours: Monday- Friday, 9am - 3pm
Cost: $125 per camper/$115 Members*

ADVENTURE CAMP for rising 6th-9th graders. Campers who have outgrown Junior Naturalist Camp can participate in an exciting travel campfor teens. Under the guidance of instructors, campers explore areas surrounding Cochran Mill NatureCenter on wilderness outing to hike, canoe, climb, swim and study wildlife. Campers will learnabout native Georgia wildlife and forests through personal exploration. Camp culminates with an overnight camp-out with a campfire, cookout and night hike!

Hours: Monday - Wednesday, 9am - 3pm; Thursday 9am - Friday 12pm
Dates: July 23-27
What’s included: 45 hours of intense, instructor-led programming, travel opportunities, workshops and t-shirt!
Cost: $300 per camper/$270 Members*
